Went to Birmingham with Dad yesterday. Had a wander round the German market, munched on fried potatoes and mushrooms with garlic sauce, and then made our way into a huge book shop. Seriously, it was massive. Just walking up the stairs was tiring!

It had either been a bank or hotel, from the looks of it, since it certainly wasn't a bookshop the last time we were in Birmingham. Couldn't quite remember exactly, however, since it had been a few years.

Managed to get a few Christmas presents from there, so that was pretty good.
